• How are Halo® MustHang extensions different from the other hair extensions?

• Are the Halo® MustHang extensions one size fits all or are there different sizes? 

The Halo® MustHang extensions set comes with nylon wires pre-included in 3 different sizes so you can fit the weft perfectly to your head and ensure it is secured. 

Before applying Halo® MustHang extensions, make sure you choose the correct wire size, otherwise your extensions may sit too low or too high on your head. The hair extension should fit comfortably around the crown of your head. The wire should gently touch your head and should not move when you shake your head. 

• How do I apply Halo® MustHang extensions?

STEP BY STEP 

1: BRUSH YOUR HAIR 
 
Brush your hair thoroughly to get rid of tangles. Then, brush out your Halo® hair extension gently using a wide-toothed comb or paddle brush. 

2: SECTION OFF YOUR HAIR 
 
Section off your hair at the crown, tying it into a bun at the top of your head with the help of our special Comb for Halo® MustHang extensions. Leave out the front sections of hair that frame your face to ensure a natural blend. 

3: APPLY YOUR HALO® MUSTHANG EXTENSION 

Choosing the wire length that best fits the size of your head, position your Halo® MustHang extensions extension over your bun where you parted your hair. Like a headband, it should sit comfortably and securely above your ears. 
 

4: ATTACH THE TWO CLIPS THAT CAME WITH YOUR HALO® MUSTHANG EXTENSION  

To feel more secure when moving, we give you the option of attaching 2 barrettes to your own hair. As the weight is evenly distributed across the strand, these barrettes are designed to not damage your scalp or hair. 

5: BLEND FOR NATURAL RESULTS 

Take down your bun and brush through your hair to smooth everything out ensuring your real hair is covering all the wefts and the Halo® MustHang extensions. Be extra cautious when brushing over the wire of the halo to avoid snagging. 

• Can I style & blend my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

Yes! Since Halo® MustHang extensions are 100% remy human hair, you or your stylist may style as you would your natural hair. Depending on your hairstyle, if you have long layers, you may want to texture and layer the Halo® MustHang extensions as you wear them on your head. This will give you the most natural look possible. 

• Can I curl and straighten my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

Yes! Halo® MustHang extensions can be straightened and curled, blow-dried, just like your own hair.  

However, in order to preserve and extend the life of your extensions, we suggest always using a heat protectant spray before styling your extensions and to only use a low heat setting of 120C/250F, as anything higher risks damage and compromising the lifespan of your Halo® MustHang extensions. 

Our hair is constantly being revitalized at the scalp, whereas hair extensions don't receive that sort of constant nutrition. The controlled use of temperature helps not to cause damage to the extension and to your own hair. 

• Will Halo® MustHang hair extensions blend with my hair? 

Halo® MustHang extensions are best for those who have below bust-length hair and have a thin or medium hair type. 

Is not recommend the Halo® MustHang extensions for those with a very short hair as you will need more wefts and hair to create a perfect blend. 

• Is it possible to color my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

Yes! Is it possible to deposit color in your Halo® MustHang extension. You or your stylist may color as you would in your natural hair.  

We recommend testing the color first with a few strands in a discrete area of the extension. Some colorists have found that washing and drying Halo® MustHang extensions prior to coloring helps hair absorb color more efficiently. They also suggest that it is easier to color a Halo® MustHang extension that has a lighter color to get the expected result. 

It is not recommended to remove color from your Halo® MustHang extensions through bleaching or lightening! We can not guarantee a good result, as this could damage the extension irreversibly. 

• Can I do ponytails using Halo® MustHang extensions? 

Halo® MustHang extensions are suitable for half up half down hairstyles, and low ponytails. 

• Can I perm my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

Perming your Halo® MustHang extensions is not recommended. This is because perms can compromise the integrity of the extension.  

Halo® MustHang extensions are made of human hair, but because they are not receiving the same natural nutrients as your natural hair, permanent chemicals may not react well and irreversibly damage your Halo® MustHang extensions. 

• Can I swim in my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

No. We do not recommended to swim with your Halo® MustHang extensions. 

Halo® MustHang extensions are designed to be securely held in place with the help of your existing hair. If you submerge your head in water, the extensions can float just as they were designed to be removed. In addition, it can also compromise the integrity of the extension. 

Remember that Halo® MustHang extensions are made from 100% human Remy hair, they can be styled and washed like your regular hair, however, the more you wash and heat your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be! 

• Can I workout with my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

We recommend that you remove your Halo® MustHang extension every time you do workout. Durability will depend on how often the extension is being worn and the care given.  

Halo® MustHang extensions are so simple to remove and put back on, you can remove them and store them before workout to best preserve its stylish and alligned appearance. In addition, depending on the type of exercise, it can also compromise the integrity of the extension. 

Remember that Halo® MustHang extensions are made from 100% human Remy hair, they can be styled and washed like your regular hair, however, the more you wash and heat your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be! Try to keep washing and product usage to a minimum. 

• Can I sleep in my Halo® MustHang extensions? 

We recommend that you remove your Halo® MustHang extension every time you go to sleep. 

Halo® MustHang extensions are so simple to remove and put back on, you can remove them and store them before going to sleep to best preserve its stylish and alligned appearance.  

• How long will my Halo® MustHang extensions last? 

Durability will depend on how often the extension is being worn and the care given to your Halo®MustHang extension. As it is a product made of Human Hair, there is no guaranteed durability period. There is an estimate based on the highest quality care given to your Halo®MustHang extensions.  

Halo® MustHang extensions can be styled and washed like your regular hair, however, the more you wash and heat your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be! Try to keep washing and product usage to a minimum. 

• Do I need to wash my Halo® MustHang extensions before use? 

No. Halo® MustHang extensions go through a hygiene process so that they are safe to wear right out of the box. 

• How do I take care of my Halo® MustHang extensions? How many time I must wash them? 

Is very important to create a good routine with your Halo® MustHang extensions since the beginning to help prolong their lifespan. 

Halo® MustHang extensions are made of human hair so they can be styled and washed like your regular hair, however, the more you wash and heat your extensions, the shorter their lifespan will be! So try to keep washing and product usage to a minimum. 

We recommend only washing Halo® MustHang extensions once there is a lot of product build up. For example, if your extensions feel like they’re becoming increasingly difficult to style, this is likely a sign that there is product build-up and they need to be washed. Or you can follow the following principle: to wash every 30 wears or once every two months. 

We also recommend keeping your Halo® MustHang Extensions away from dust and dirt when you are not using them. Ensure your extensions are completely dry when storing them to prevent mold and other bacteria from growing! 

What will you need? 

1. Soft brush or comb.

4. 4. Alcohol-free/sulfate-free shampoo
5. 5. Alcohol/sulfate free deep conditioner or mark

STEP BY STEP 

1. Brush your extensions out before washing them (when they are still dry). 

2. Prepare your sink, begin to clean it and start to fill it up with LUKEWARM water (not to hot), or fill the bowl up three-quarters.  

Pump 2-3 dollops of shampoo into the water, and swish the product around in the water so it's nice and soapy. 

3. Wash your extensions carefully to prevent tangling. Sometimes you can also co-wash your extensions with conditioner. 

Hold the weft in one hand at the top, submerge it into the water, and gently wash the hair, working the shampoo in with light strokes. 

4. Conditioner time. After washing, gently remove excess water with a towel. Then apply a deep conditioner or hair mask  

Take a considerable amount of conditioner or mask and apply from top to bottom, massaging the product well into the hair. Let it act for minimum 10 minutes in order for the hair extensions absorve the product. You can also bundle your extensions and carefully coil them and leave them overnight to really soak and in the next day rinse each strand. 

5. Rinse out very well! 

After 10 minutes or in the next day, as your prefer, ensure you rinse out your extension well and there is no conditioner or mask residue left on the hair. Washing well means not leaving any product in the hair, otherwise it makes it heavy or greasy when it is dried. 

Finally, rinse again with cool water, which will help close your hair cuticles to seal in moisture and make your extensions healthier. 

6. Drying. Carefully squeeze out excess water from the extensions and, without rubbing, remove excess water with the help of a microfiber towel. 

We recommend air drying. After the hair has dried, apply a generous amount of oil to the length of the extension for a smooth hair. 

In the case of using a dryer, we recommend using a heat protectant spray before drying. Dry from top to bottom, always in the natural direction of the hair to avoid tangling. Don’t forget - only brush the extension when it is almost dry!
